Not to be missed during a visit to Cannes as it is just 45 minutes on the train to visit this amazing location. Famous for its pure luxury there is plenty to see including walking along the famous grand prix track.
ANTIBES AND JUAN LES PINS
Just along the coast you will find Antibes with it's beautiful old town, restaurants and markets and Juan Les Pins with it's amazing beach, shops and bars. Both are worth a visit (around 15 minutes on the train or bus). Use the 'petit train' to travel between the two as it is not far.
MONACO - MONTE CARLO
ST RAPHAEL
There are many beautiful and contrasting places in
both directions along the coast from Menton (the
last stop before Italy) to St Raphael, including
the beautiful town of Eze built on the cliffs.
St Raphael is just a short train ride away and well worth a visit during your stay in Cannes.
GRASSE
Grasse is the perfume capital of the world and has
been a popular tourist town for several centuries,
with the smell of flowers and clear air. The
altitude of the town, from 300-400 m, and the hills
behind give Grasse a fresher climate than the beach
during the heat of the summer. Tiny streets wind
forever between the 17th and 18th century
buildings, up and down ancient steps, passing
through arched tunnels and sometimes opening out
onto large squares.
